Cliffs Ridge
Cliffs Ridge is a comfortable, spacious short term vacation rental home in Marquette, Michigan with four separate bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 futons and a reclining full-size sofa and chair. It has cathedral ceilings and a corner electric fireplace for family togetherness and privacy all wrapped in one. Cliffs Ridge has a great fire pit area along with seating, a deck platform and string lights. The home is located less than one mile south of Marquette Mountain Ski Area on M-553 (the closest single house accommodation to the hill), minutes from downtown Marquette and magnificent Lake Superior.
Cliffs Ridge is so-named because you can see its rooftop from the former Cliffs Ridge Run at the top of Chair #1 at Marquette Mountain, formerly Cliffs Ridge Ski Area. There is no apostrophe in "Cliffs" because it was originally named after the Cliffs Dow Company. The exposed beams in the roof, Great Room and main floor ceilings are actually recycled from the old Tracy Mine in Ishpeming.
Part of the beauty of renting a vacation rental in Marquette, namely Cliffs Ridge, is its personality and warmth – you can enjoy family and friends without the commercial feeling of a hotel, and with the great kitchen space you can enjoy excellent family dining without the expense of going out to eat for every meal.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything necessary to feed a crowd including two crock pots. There are two gas grills; one on the upper deck front off the living area; the other is on the on the back deck off the master bedroom along with a bar area and additional seating.

This year-around vacation rental is the perfect spot for family reunions, ski vacations, NMU parent activity weekends, wedding parties and more.

The Marquette area has more than 35 miles of interconnected paved bike trails and miles of mountain biking trails as well – accessible directly from the house. Snowmobile parking is available at Marquette Mountain with access to the trails.

Great Place for a Ski Weekend!
Spacious vacation rental home located a mile away from Marquette Mountain. This was our 2nd stay at this home this ski season. Price is great. Beds are comfortable. Home is clean, kitchen has everything you need. Having laundry makes it really easy if you don't want to have to pack a lot. Such a QUICK jaunt over to beautiful Marquette Mountain. 5 minutes to downtown...very convenient location. Great place to stay!!

Perfect Vacation Home
My family from Wisconsin stayed at Cliffs Ridge for my wedding in Marquette. The place was beautiful and really gives off the "I'm on vacation" feel. Very spacious and well accommodating for my large family. The closest and largest rental we found near Marquette Mountain where we held our wedding reception. Short drive to downtown but offers the privacy of being out of the city. The owners are great to work with. We would definitely stay at this Marquette vacation rental again.

Simply Put, Cliffs Ridge is Amazing
We have stayed at this Marquette vacation rental a couple of times over the last few years. The home owners are exceptionally great to work with, and always very accommodating. This is a pet-friendly vacation rental, and that is very important to my wife and me. The accommodations are great, and the location is even better. We are avid mountain bikers and skiers. We're able to ride our bikes to the NTN south trail head, and just a very short drive away from the ski lifts. There's plenty of room for a family, and we would recommend this location to everyone possible.

Great place, great location, great owners
If you're visiting Marquette to go fat biking or skiing then Cliffs Ridge is ideal. Our group of nine were there to fat bike so we were thrilled to find the southern trails only a mile from the house, just past the ski hill, and the northern trails are an easy straight shot down the highway. The house is great, well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing trip to the U.P. The home owners are great to work with, extremely responsive to emails and everything you need to know about the house is clearly laid out with instructions.
