ROB, CAT & CLANCY
We bought our house as a primary residence in 1989 and renovated and added on throughout the years. When moving to Washington State in 2006 we were not ready to sell and decided to turn it into a short term vacation rental so that we could continue updating it and give others a chance to enjoy it as well.
Our ties to Marquette are forever and we love visiting with friends and family as often as we can. It's hard to leave and it's great to come back!
As we complete the thirteenth year of sharing our home with wonderful folks, we are happy to know that people are returning to celebrate weddings, reunions, Thanksgiving, Christmas, graduations, ski trips and so much more. The Marquette area abounds with wonderful activities and also has fantastic restaurants, breweries, nightlife and, of course, Lake Superior. It has been great to be able to share our special place with the ever-growing Cliffs Ridge family.
Circumstances have now brought us closer to the house and Marquette — we recently moved to Appleton, Wisconsin. We are thrilled to be back closer to friends, family and our house!
Cliffs Ridge will continue to be the Marquette vacation rental home-away-from-home that it has grown to be for those of you who love it. Thank you!

MARQUETTE & THE U.P.
The Marquette area offers an enormous range of activities, indoor and out. Boating, fishing, biking, hiking, skiing, great restaurants and shopping—the possibilities are absolutely endless. Marquette is a welcoming and warm community with the added benefit of magnificent Lake Superior which in itself can entertain the entire family.
Cliffs Ridge's central location allows you to be anywhere in the local Marquette area in minutes — the best of all worlds.
If you have the time to venture further, Marquette is central to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (Munising, 40 miles east) and Big Bay, (20 minutes north and home of the historic filming of 'Anatomy of a Murder'). Houghton and Hancock (home of Michigan Technological University) are about two hours north and not far north of there is Copper Harbor (the north end of Highway 41) and the ferries to Isle Royale. Day trip possibilities abound when you are staying at Cliffs Ridge!

We love to have friends over to enjoy the great fire pit area, the electric fireplace and gathering table in the dining area—when you sit at that table you feel as though you are perching in a tree house!

Marquette has excellent restaurants, breweries and wine-tasting venues. You won't want to leave!
